Hi guys! It's been nearly a week after WCS 2011 ended in Nagoya Japan and I'm sure many of you are anxious to see how your home team performed. As much as I would love to embed each individual video, 17 embedded videos proved too “clutter-y” for a blog entry so I've put together a playlist instead.

ACM & WCS Preliminary rounds (photo spams)

Hi guys! Apologies for the late post again. I was really busy the entire week trying to finish my costume for ToyCon that I was supposed to attend in Philippine. But as those of you who follow me on Facebook would know, complications cropped up and I was forced to remain in Singapore. Mega sadness much =(

Anyway, this entry is the video and Photo spam for the WCS & ACM Preliminaries held at Orchard Central last weekend.  The Singapore Cosplay Club has uploaded the video performance of the Asia Cosplay Meet and World Cosplay Summit Singapore Preliminary round. Enjoy!

I have no idea why they feel the need to do all those fancy music dubbing. Doesn't that takes away the essential performance?

WCS 2010: Results out!!

The highly anticipated Cosplay event of the year has finally drawn the red curtains. Below are the results taken from World-Cosplay-Summit Group. Much thanks to Wakaleo for his prompt ENGLISH updates! Following the official WCS tweeter on erm, twitter was an annoying torture of trying to guess/figure out what was going on based on the visual uploads (read: I DUN UNDERSTAND JAPANESE OKAYZ?!)

Apparently, this year, they have some sort of point judging system. Very harsh imho but definitely a fairer and more transparent system. Maybe Singapore Cosplay Competition organisers can learn a thing or two from them?

Kudos to all the representatives and especially team Singapore =) Each and everyone of you are winners and should hold your head high in pride! Banzai to all and till the excitement come again next year!
